Why I Purchased the House and Want to Trade

I purchased this house because of it's location, obvious potential and it's historic value in the Finger Lakes Wine Region. I thought it would be a great project for my son and I as an intervention program because of social/peer problems with living in a large city. I seen it as a great restoration project and future Bed and Breakfast/Restaurant, also where I can spend time with my family and get to know them better in this quiet and quaint community. I started this adventure fully aware of my progressive lung problems but thought I would have many more years of an active life. Now I've been told that my health is declining at a much faster rate than expected. My son is getting ready to go away to college in one of the bay areas and I'm no longer interested in keeping this property as a Bed and Breakfast. I would like to trade the property for something fun and exciting to share with my family. ''Proverbial ship to sail around the world in.'' Ha! Ha! To tell you were we are at with the project. Most of the interior has been completely restored including most of the floors and moulding. As of the exterior the porch pillars, railing and moulding were painstakingly removed piece by piece and are stored the garage. The first and second level of the porches have been completely rebuilt. We are currently stripping the paint on exterior and will resume on outside work in the spring. There are no major structure problems with this house, very solid and inviting home. As a contractor, I chose this time to place the trade because this is the best point to choose "your " house colors, have brand new maple cabinets not yet installed in kitchen, new pink Italian marble tile enough to do kitchen, great room and bathroom. It's a blank canvas in all the areas "you" would want to personalize as all new home owners do. It can be used and loved as either a single family home, Bed and Breakfast/Restaurant or a vacation home. The original integrity(floor plan)has not been altered, we have original blue prints for house. Why make costly changes when all you need to do is make the right choice that fits "you".

This 1958 Corvette has the original transmission and what appears to be the original engine block, the transmission and engine block are cast in 1958. Was originally fuel injected. Duel 4 barrel carb. set-up with it. The exterior of this car is in excellent condition. There is also a rare 1969 Chevrolet 302 DZ off-road racing engine. It’s only been run in tests, it has original 50’s blow proof bell housing attached to it, has roller rockers and cam. Old fuel injector unit also. Not to mention some old antique gas pumps, old memorabilia signs and numerous antique tools.
